PRODUCT DETAILS

The perfect bedtime book for little ones who love big machines — this charming rhyming picture book makes winding down feel like an adventure!

In The Good Night Garage, seven mighty machines spring to life as the city goes to sleep, each one heading out to tackle the important night jobs that keep everything running smoothly by morning. Written in irresistible rhyme by Tori Kosara and brought to vivid life by illustrator Meg Hunt, this is a celebration of the everyday heroes — and the vehicles that help them — who work while the rest of us dream. Perfect for vehicle-obsessed toddlers and young children who need just a little more magic before lights out.

  • Rhyme-Powered Bedtime Routine: The lyrical, rhyming text creates a soothing, rhythmic read-aloud experience that naturally eases little ones towards sleep.
  • Big Machines, Big Curiosity: Seven different vehicles take centre stage, making this an ideal pick for young fans of trucks, diggers, and everything that goes bump in the night — in the best possible way.
  • A Celebration of Unsung Heroes: Gently introduces children to the idea of night workers and non-traditional working patterns, sparking conversations about the people and machines that look after our cities.
  • Stunning Illustration: Meg Hunt's bold, playful artwork — rich in colour, character, and texture — creates a world children will want to return to again and again.
